desert bus for hope. I’m not kidding.

November 24th, 2009 | Comments Off | Posted in Uncategorized

For those of you unfamiliar with Loading Ready Run’s “Desert Bus for Hope” event, read about it here, but basically they are playing the worst video game of all time in marathon runs to raise money for Child’s Play, an organization that buys toys and games for hospitals and sick children.

I’m helping in the only way I know how, as I love shitty video games and charitable causes. Any books bought while they are driving the Desert Bus for hope will have all of the income (minus shipping cost) donated to the Desert Bus cause, to keep them driving, driving, driving.

Visit the store right now.

Go desert bus go.

Check out the brand new issue of Invisible City (and, if you’ve got the cojones, every past issue). It’s an online art zine based out of Australia and yours truly is featured with a story that has finally found a home.

It’s a good feeling.

and, if you find yourself needing some entertainment on November 25th in the central Toronto area, please come out to University of Toronto’s Hart House Library for a live reading from Blank State and a lecture on DIY art by yours truly. The facebook event can be found here:
